Thunderbirds Are Go
Thunderbirds is one of my all time favourite things in the universe, so when I heard a new Thunderbirds TV series was in production, excitement doesn't even begin to describe my feelings! Thunderbirds Are Go is set to air next year, with a first season of twenty-six episodes made by ITV Studios, Pukeko Pictures, and Weta Workshop.
There have been a few teaser images around for a while, but now all five of the new Thunderbird designs have been revealed. Here are the clearest images so far released, of Thunderbirds one through four:
There's not been such a well presented image of Thunderbird 5 yet, but you can see it here in this size comparison image of all five:
Continue after the jump for more on the Thunderbird designs and more from this exciting new series:

New King Kong movie, Skull Island, coming in 2016
Exciting news for King Kong fans, Legendary Pictures have announced they will be releasing a new film from the universe of King Kong. Skull Island is set to explore Kong's home, which hopefully means plenty of dinosaurs too! They screen a teaser video at Comic Con, MTV have this description:
The short clip raced over a restless ocean, then through the foliage and rocks on a deserted island, before the giant gorilla was finally revealed from the shadows. The clip would seem to imply Kong will be featured, I wonder how this will work around the main Kong story. The film is set for release in 2016, but no other details have been announced yet.
“Being alone in the wilderness, it had gone mad,” a voiceover intoned. “It looked at you with a vengeful aspect.”

Is this the new Jurassic Park?
In the world of infinity spawning sequels, there are a lot of films on the way I am excited about from lots of my favourite franchises. But right at the top of my oh-boy-I'm-excited-scale is the fourth Jurassic Park film, Jurassic World, which is due out in 2015.
It's rumoured Jurassic World will be taking us back is Isla Numblar, where a now successful and fully operational dinosaur resort has opened. Now concept art from the production gives us a look at what the future of Jurassic Park might look like, and it's quite spectacular. The Film Stage reports these images are from artist Nathan Schroeder:
Stunning! The new design seems to play off the original Jurassic Park visitor center, giving it a futuristic Calatrava-esque flare. If the final design is even half as impressive as this, the film is going to look amazing! Here's a look at what we might see inside:
